Wow - it's been nearly two years since my last post.
Life has been interesting....
So this is just to let anyone who might still be checking in here know what's happening.
Last July, my mom passed away. Before she did, I was able to go visit her and make peace with the past. She is free, now and I am glad her pain is over.
In September, I discovered that I have cancer. I made some radical changes to my diet and began taking targeted supplements. Then, in the middle of  November, the highly stressful job I had had for years came to an end. This was a good thing, as the stress was the primary cause of the cancer. The tumor has shrunk and the natural methods I have chosen are working with the added side benefit of losing a lot of weight (over 100 lbs so far).
I have been pursuing a new job - or ways to make income from home since December without much success. I am tired a lot, but willing to work. I am taking a writing class and working on a book. I interviewed for a job with the county 12 days ago and the interview went well...but I did not get the job.
Back in January, my aunt convinced me that the most efficient way to let friends know I need help was to set up a GoFundMe account. Very awkward - it has been a chance to truly learn humility. Over the last 3 1/2, people from all over the world have sent me money to keep my bills paid and roof over my head. I am very grateful.
Now, it was brought to my attention that there might be people that stop by here (assuming anyone still does!) who would want to help if they knew. So...if that is the case, I would be very grateful. My monthly bills come to an average of $500 per month and my rent is $565 per month. In addition, there is the cost of food and gas = and my car is in need of some maintenance. May's rent has been paid and May's bills star coming due in a bout a week.

Here is the link to my GoFundMe account - www.gofundme.com/ljahelp
You can give through them or through the PayPal link in my sidebar.

Thank you.

The latest update.... With the help if friends, my car is running again. The battery was so dead, it couldn't even be tested. Because it was still under warranty, they replaced it for free (yay, AutoZone!) and a dear friend helped me take it out, haul it to the store and install the new one. Whew... My May bills are late and due to late fees, I still need $400+ to cover those. Will run out of treatment supplies not covered by insurance next week - $100. Then, of couse, June's rent of $565 will be due. I continue to look for jobs that my health and skills will fit. I am also still working on writing, but that, though having great potential for income, takes time before it begins making money. I am immensely humbled and grateful for all help given, whether financial or in prayer or ideas. Thank you.

Here is my latest update. Thanks to you all, my May bills were paid and I have ordered/purchased the treatment supplies that were running out. I have food and gas and am able to stock up on the non-food items that were running low - TP, toothpaste, shampoo, etc. I am still looking for job possibilities - just found a graphic design one I'm hopeful about (will let you know if it pans out). I'm still pursuing writing, as well. The tumor is shrinking, slowly, but still. I am tired some, but doing well. I am confident that this will be dealt with. What my needs are: June's rent is due in a week ($565), and then the usual monthly bills after that (starting on the 8th through the 14th) at $500 - they've gone up a little). I am still amazed at the generosity of people who know me and especially those who do not. You give me hope, which is no small thing. Sincerely, thank you all. You are beautiful in my eyes.

Well, here's where I am today. Side hurting a little, as it does from time to time, but the tumor is still (ever so slowly) shrinking. I am working on ways to combat the anxiety that rises up, as the stress just feeds the problem.... I got notified of another county job opening that I qualify for so as soon as I get home, I will get online and apply for that. Stress there, too. Sigh. I was under-qualified for the graphic design job - they want someone with a degree. Financially, I lost elagibility for food assiatance, but can reapply in a month. I have $90 toward June's rent - need another $475, which after GoFundMe takes out the percentage, would need to be about $520 or so. After that, starting on June 8, the monthly bills will start, totalling $500. But for now, I have food and an almost full tank of gas. Again, thank you all so much for caring and helping. Every piece adds up to keep me going. There is no way I can ever repay you. Love and peace to you.

Here is the latest. It is June 1 and I'm still short of the rent. Scary, but I am at peace in the middle of the anxiety. Hard to explain. June's bills ($500) start coming due next week.... I have applied for the position at the county land title office. The application process doesn't close until next Friday. Another county job opened as administrative assiatance that I will apply for, as well. We will see. Tumor has shrunk some more. I am still tired a lot an need a lot of rest. I so appreciate all the prayers and positive energy and love you all are sending. As I say every time, and mean wholeheartedly, thank you for you kindness and assistance. It is beyond anything I ever expected or deserve. May joy and peace and blessings be yours. Love you all.

Latest update: Thank you all so much. Because of your help, my June rent and bills are covered. I have food for the next week. So, all I need now for June is gas and food for 2nd half of month. I'm still waiting to hear on jobs I've applied for. Helped a friend on Friday and he paid me $60 - which paid for groceries. :) There are no words to adequately express my gratitude for all your help. It is overwhelming and teaching me that love really is more than a word. Thank you so much....

Latest update.... As I mentioned in my lasy update, my June bills are paid. It feels strange to have them paid before they are late. :) I am still looking for means to make money. The county job application phase closed on Friday, so if they want to interview me, I should hear this week. My current needs are for food. Have enough for about 5 days (thank you!) and gas. I will also need to get some more supplies that aren't covered by insurance soon - about $150 worth. I seem to have hit a plateau, healthwise - it is not getting better, but it is also not getting worse. I am making some adjustments to help tip that balance back toward healing - one of the biggest things is learning to not allow anxiety/stress to get big. Acknowledge the feelings and then let them go. Easier said than done, right? :) I know I will he okay and this season will pass. As I keep saying, I am overwhelmed with the generosity and love that you all continue to show me. I pray that you all know the deep love and peace of God that He is teaching to me. I love you all and thank you so much.

Here's today's update... I have not gotten an interview on the county job. I applied yesterday for another one. I combed through approximately 200 job listings from the local Workforce Center. Not a lot that isn't either manual labor or professional medical. :( I am still looking. I have enough for food through this coming week. Will need gas money and have some treatment supplies I need to get soon ($100). Rent is (of course) coming up the end of next week ($565) and there is the ongoing need for food and gas. Then 5here are July's bills ($500) plus $150 in expenses that only come up once a year....I hope and pray that this will not go on as it is much longer. The mental part of it gets hard some days. The tumor is still not changing. It was hurting a little today, but it has not grown nor spread (yay!) I am so grateful for the support I have received from you all, whether financial, spiritual or emotional. I am still amazed and humbled at your generosity. Thank you so much.

Jeannette Altes said...

Here's my latest update...
I have enough to get food and gas through next week. I am running out of some of my treatment supplies ($100). My rent is due Friday ($565). Well need food and gas after next week. July's bills will start coming due in 2 weeks ($500), plus $150 in bills that only come up once a year will be due in about 2 weeks.
I continue to look for a job. I won't give up. My health is still at the same plateau, neither improving nor getting worse. I'm hoping that shifts soon, too.
Thank you all for your prayers and support. I am so grateful.

Jeannette Altes said...

Here is the newest update...
Thank you all: my car is full of gas, I have food until after the holiday weekend, and I have ordered the treatment supplies I had run out of.
My next urgent need is for rent (due in 2 days). I have part of it, but still need $440 to cover it (this includes the processing fee GoFundMe takes out). After that, the July bills will start coming due in about 10 days (the usual $500 plus an additional $150 that only comes once a year).
Thank you all so much. You have/are saving my life. Words are completely inadequate to express my gratitude. THANK YOU.

Jeannette Altes said...

Today's status.
I am continuing to look for ways to make money...and working on not being afraid (ha!).
I still need $330 to cover July's rent, and July's bills start coming due in a week ($500 for usual plus another $150 for 2 yearly bills coming due). Plus the ongoing need for food and gas, living....
With all that is going on, the anniversary of my mom's passing snuck up on me and the emotions there caught me off guard. Sigh. I am a survivor, however, and I am not going to give up.
The financial help you all have given still overwhelms me and the notes of encouragement and prayers are very much appreviated. You all are so special. THANK YOU!!

Jeannette Altes said...

Here's the latest...
Thanks to you all, my July rent has been paid, the first to bills that come due are covered and I have money for food and gas for the coming week. THANK YOU!!
My job situation and my health seem to both be in a sort of holding pattern - not getting better but not getting worse...I will keep moving and change will come, hopefully sooner rather than later. (Ha!)
So, the next needs coming up are the rest of July's bills, which start coming due next week - $350 for the regular and $150 for those 2 that come up once a year.
I am so grateful for you all's continued support: financially, with encouragement, and with prayers. I truly do not know where I would be without your help. It is a scary thought....thank you all so much.

Jeannette Altes said...

Here is the latest update.
I am applying for another county job (DMV). As of now, I have $200 toward the bills coming due this week. Need another $150 (plus the percentage GoFundMe takes out - 7.9% + $0.30 per transaction). I will need another $150 (plus fees) by next week to cover those pesky once a year expenses. I have food and gas to get me through this week.
My anxiety levels have been up some this past few days. But, I pray, meditate and am determined not to give up. Again thank you all so much for you care - you gifts of cash, gifts of prayer and encouragement, the gift of your time. Thank you.

Jeannette Altes said...

Here is the latest update.
On the health front, the tumor looks to have shrunk some more and is not spreading, so that is good news. I am tired and, for some reason, sore. But that is improving, as well.
On the job front, there is still no change. I continue to keep my eyes open, but being a 50+ woman with health issues doesn't seem to make me terrible appealing, especially in a slow job market. Sigh. Will keep looking, though. Something will work.
So, thanks to you, all of my July bills are paid as well as food and gas through the month. The next thing coming due, then, is August rent - $565 ($620 with the GoFundMe fees).
Again, I am so grateful for each of you - your gifts, encouragement, and prayers all help more than I can express. Thank you.

Jeannette Altes said...

Well, here's the latest...
The job front is discouraging. Not finding much, but not giving up, either.
The health issues are still fairly static: not getting better, but not getting worse. Re-evaluating the treatment plan. The tumor doesn't bother me most of the time, but other issues (back, knees) have been acting up again.
My car is acting up and I don't know what the issue is. May just need a tune-up, but could be more than that. Sigh.
So, I have food and gas through this week. Pending needs are: rent is due Monday ($565), will continue to need food and gas..., August bills start coming due the end of next week ($450), car may need repairs ($$??).
I am so grateful to all of you for your continuing care, concern, and help. As I type this, I am tearing up. I don't know how I would have survived this year without the generosity you all have shown. I am overwhelmed by it all. Thank you so much.

Jeannette Altes said...

Here's today's update....
Health still static: no better, but no worse. Going to try some new things as I can afford them this coming month.
Still no interviews or viable jobs. Trying to stay upbeat and continue to keep my eyes open. This cannot go on forever.
Rent is due tomorrow and I have part if it - need another $400 to cover it. Will need more food in a couple of days. I'm on a very simple and soecific diet. Most of what is in food banks, etc., is on the "do not eat" list for the cancer and does make me feel worse. August's bills start coming due next week - $450.
I cannot adequately say in words what the help and support you give means. I am amazed and so deeply grateful to each of you. I pray it comes back to you when you need it most. Love to you all.

Jeannette Altes said...

Here is the latest....
Thanks to you all, I was able to pay my rent this week. Thank you!
I am hoping to get some information today on what treatment course is best next. Attempts at generating some income through online recommendations this week proved unsuccessful. I will keep looking and trying.
My immediate needs are food and gas. I am about out if food. August's bills start coming due in a few days and total $450.
I am so grateful to all who have been and are willing to help. This past week was proof that little pieces combined add up to enough. Thank you for all you have and are doing. God bless and keep each of you.

Jeannette Altes said...

Another update....
Thanks to you all, my first two bills of the month are paid, my gas tank is full, and I have food for a couple more days.
Things are still not popping on the job front, but I am hopeful that something will shift there soon.
I am still in the process of testing on the health front - trying to see if there are others issues interfering with the main treatment. Hopefully, that can be essentially sorted by the weekend and I can move forward there.
As to what the immediate needs are: the rest of August's bills come due the end of the week - $350. And I will need food again in a couple of days. Again, I want to thank you all so much.
Your generosity - financially, prayerwise, and with words of encouragement - have helped beyond words to express. Thank you!

Jeannette Altes said...

Hey, all. Here's the latest update...
It was a bit of a rough week. Was in some pain on Monday. Feeling pretty good today. I worked with my health provider yesterday and did some prayer today and I think we have gotten the secondary issues mostly resolved and the treatment should get back on track. Yay! :)
As of today, all of August's bills are current (one was a couple of days late and that triggered a $40 late fee. Sigh - so goes life. I have food enough to get through Friday or Saturday. I have enough gas for another week or so. So the next need is food, then gas, then rent ($565).
Again, I am humbled and grateful that you all are helping me. It is far more than I ever would have expected. I continue to have my eyes open for opportunities to generate income. Thank you so much for your prayers and concern. It means so much to me and sustains me.

Jeannette Altes said...

Hi, all. Here is the latest status.
It's been a rough week. Working on getting the health progress back in balance. It is - just not as quickly as I would like. And today, I am just hurting a little, both physically and emotionally. And that's the nature of this earth life.
One of you kindly sent me some links and info about potential online work. Thank you. I am looking into those.
I have had food and gas through this week. Immediate needs are the usual suspects: food and gas for the next couple of weeks and rent ($565).
You guys are truly amazing. Again, thinking what you all have done for me through all this time makes me cry. Thank you so so much.

Jeannette Altes said...

Here is the latest update.
I am continuing to look for ways to earn income. There is not much here right now outside of medical professional or manual labor. I have looked into some online options and will continue that route, as well.
Physically, I am tired a lot. Things seem to be moving in the right direction again, but I am physically and emotionally drained. Resting as much as possible. I am confident that I will recover, however. Just taking longer than I had hoped.
Thanks to you, September's rent was paid and I have food through this week and a full tank of gas.
The next needs up are the usual monthly bills, which have gone up a little. They total $550 and start coming due the end of this week. I will, of course, have the ongoing need for food and gas next week.
I am overwhelmed by how long this has taken. I never expected it to go for more than 2-3 months. I am in awe of the generosity of all of you. I would be on the street if it were not for you and I will be forever grateful. I have no means of ever paying you all back - and I know that you do not expect it. But in the future, it is my earnest desire and intent to pay it forward. Thank you all so much.

Jeannette Altes said...

Today's status.
First, I was to just say thank you to all who are supporting me, whether financially, with prayer and love, with encouragement, or just understanding. The community at TWW, the ladies of Fruita, family and friends...you all work together to keep me from going under and there really are no words adequate to say thank you....
So, I have been able to pay the first two bills that come due and have enough to get food for next week. The rest of the bills that are coming due the first of the week total $400 ($440 would cover the that including the fees for GoFundMe).

Jeannette Altes said...

So here is my latest update.
I am chagrined. Due in part to my own miscalculation and in part to having to pay a late fee on a bill, I am out of funds, out of food, and embarrassed. I have one bill that still need to be paid ($25) and is due today. I need food and gas, and of course, the rent will be coming due again soon ($565). I also have not been able to get a treatment item that I need - $25.
I still seem to be at somewhat of an impasse, health-wise. It does get discouraging, but I remain confident that it will resolve in time.
Thank you all for you help and support. God bless you.

Jeannette Altes said...

Another update.
Thank you to all of you. I am still amazed at your support and love. There really are no words. So, it has been a rough week, physically. Was in a lot of pain yesterday with stomach and back. Still some sore today, but up and getting some errands done.
My bills for this month are all paid, with the late fees (sigh). And I have food through the weekend and a full tank of gas. So currents needs are rent due in a week ($565) and ongoing need for food and treatment items.
Again, thank you all for everything you have done and are doing. God bless you.

Jeannette Altes said...

Hi - new update.
I am doing a one time sort of editing for an author friend to make a little money. Still working to get the health rebalanced - slow but steady.
Still need about $450 to $500 to cover rent.
Thank you all so much.

Jeannette Altes said...

Here is where I am at today. My heart hurts as my brother-in-law passed last night. In the midst of this, life will not pause and so I still need help with bills for this month.
October's rent is paid and I have funds for food this week, but October bills begin coming due beginning next week and total $500. I will also continue to need food and gas money.
Thank you all so much for your help and prayers. I would not make it through this without them.
Please remember my sister in your prayers, as well. Thank you.

Jeannette Altes said...

Just an update.
Helping arrange my brother-in-law's memorial/wake. Please continue to send prayers and love to my sister. Thank you.
I still have $375 of bills coming due tomorrow. Have money for food through this week, but will need that as well as gas soon. Am still doing a small editing job for a friend that is an author.
My health is not changing much. Tired a lot.
Thank each of you so much for your support and love and sending that all to me. There I times it is tangibly felt and words cannot adequately thank you for that. It mean a great deal to me. Love and blessing to you all.

Jeannette Altes said...

Here is the latest update.
My brother-in-law's memorial and wake went well. Please continue to remember my sister as she grieves and learns to live with his absence. Thank you.
All of October's bills have been paid and on time, too. :)  Thank you all so much.
My health is still the same. Was very sore and tired after the memorial. But it was worth it.
My current need is for food. I have enough for another day or two. After that, gas will be needed next week and then, of course, November's rent in 2 weeks.
Again, the words "thank you" seem so inadequate. Your generosity is helping me learn to trust in love.

I am feeling much better than last week, physically.... But I am currently sitting in my car on the side of the road. It honestly needs a couple thousand $$ of work...the heater/defroster, the electronics in the dash, engine mounts, etc...so calling to get it towed home....

Have been in a little pain this week, but it is subsiding.
The car situation has not changed. I also still need a new couch.
Thanks and love to you.

Latest update.
January's last bill is paid. It was higher than usual but talked to them and made some adjustments so it will go down going forward.
I will  be able to get food for the next week or so as soon as I get a ride. :)
Haven't been able to get the supplements to aid in my health for a while.
Still fighting with the pain some. Discouraged some, but getting on top of it, mentally.
The situation with my car and couch has not changed.
Thanks for all your help and much love to you.

I still need to get the supplements to aid in my health.
I am still fighting with the pain some.
But memtally, I am doing better - more optimistic than I have been for a while.
I'm still looking for ways to either fix my car or get a new one. I may have a couch - will see if it works.
Thanks again so much for all your help and prayers. Love to you all.

Today's update.
I need to get food in the next couple of days.
Rent will be coming due in a week, as well - $565.
First of February's bills start coming due in about 10 days - total $500.
Still no car, but have gotten rides when I need them. It does get interesting being alone in the house for days at a time without the option to go get a coffee or something. But fortunately, I am an introvert and can handle it - mostly. :)
I am working on writing some more. Hopeful that will help.
Thank you for all help. It means a ton and you are all amazing.

I'm on Social Security but I think what I've read of your writing so far has been or will be helpful to many people.

One thing that might encourage some people to help you who might not otherwise is if you were to mention, at the beginning of each month, how much money has been donated to help you the previous month and how much has been donated so far since you started receiving donations.

Just and idea.

Roger, thank you for your suggestion. I guess I should have mentioned in the original post that if you want to check that information, going to the gofundme link will provide it. www.gofundme.com/ljahel

I will need food in a day or so.
February's bills are coming due and I have part of them covered - still need $250.
I am still looking for ways to get transportation and a couch.
Healthwise, have been hurting the last couple days, but not too bad. This will pass.
Thank you for your continued prayer and support. You guys overwhelm me (in a good way).

I have food for another couple of days.
Most of February's bills are paid, but the one I still need to pay is late and has had a late fee added, so to bring it current will cost $400 (this includes the fees taken).

Due to a longstanding back issue, I am more comfortable sleeping on a couch and the one I have is srarting to become uncomfortable. I have a small down mattress that I have place on it and that is helping. The cheapest one I have found (still need to look in person to make sure it's sturdy enough) runs $300 plus tax and delivery.
As to transportation, fixing or getting a new one are both in the $2000+ range. Seems pretty impossible right now, but God....
Healthwise, have still been hurting, but it still isn't too bad. I know this is temporary.
I am continuing to work on writing as it seems the thing before me to do. Wish it was easier and faster....
Thank you for your continued prayer and support and anything and everything that you do. It means a lot.

Hi, all.
February's bills are all current and I even remembered to renew my drivers license. Yay!
I am going grocery shopping tomorrow and will stretch that as far as I can.
Rent - $565 - is coming due next week.

The couch I was looking at has proved to be not worth the money. Pretty light weight and I don't think it would hold up long. So far, it looks like in order to get one that will be sturdy enough, it will be at least $500. So, I will keep my eyes open and trust it will come and continue to try and put what I can back for that.

I was only able to get out of the house once over an eleven day period. Spending a lot of time alone with yourself can get interesting. :) So I am keeping my eyes open for transportation, as well.
I am still hurting some, but it still isn't too bad.
I am continuing to work on writing and have finished the first chapter of one book.
Your continued support in prayer, thought, and gifts continues to amaze me. I am so grateful. Thank you.

So here's where I am today.
I have food for a week or so.
Rent is coming due next week - $565.

Still keeping my eyes open for options regarding couch and car.

I am still hurting some, but it still isn't too bad. The tumor is still there, but not gaining any ground. Still seems to be at a bit of a stalemate, there. My back has eased up and isn't hurting like it was last werk. :)

I am continuing to work on writing and also studying and just keeping my ears and eyes open.

I am so grateful to all of you. If you had told me 15 months ago what this would look like, I would not have believed it. Much love and appreciation to you all. Thank you.

I have food through this week.
Rent is coming due in two days - $565.

Healthwise, not much change except I seem to have somehow twisted my knee. It is healing, but still a bit painful.

I am continuing with writing and research. I am keeping my ears open. Even though the situation seems impossible, I know I will be okay.

Even as a writer, words are inadequate to express my gratitude to you all. Thank you.

I have food for a few more days.
March bills are coming due in a week. They will total $525.

Healthwise, the week has had ups and downs,  but I'm doing good today. And am still keeping eyes open for couch and car.

My writing is progressing. I am also continuing to keep my ears open.

I am so grateful for all your support. It is a constant source of amazement and encouragement. Thank you.

I need to get food in the next couple of days.
March bills start coming due the end of the week. They will total $525.

I am maintaining healthwise - no change. Although my knee is getting better - hurts much less today. I'm still keeping my eyes open for a couch and a car.

I am continuing to work on the two books (one fiction, one non). I am also continuing to keep my eyes open for what is next. Sometimes, it is a challenge, mentally, to stay at peace and focussed.

Thank you all for your prayers, encouragement, and help. Much love back to you.

March bills start coming due in a couple of days.

Healthwise, I'm still fighting the tumor, but it doesn't hurt much and is not growing. My knee is better, though still sore.
Its been a tough werk, mentally. Going for days with no outside contact can wear thin.
I'm still trusting that car and couch will be resolved soon.

I am continuing to work on the two books (one fiction, one non). Slow going, but still moving. And still watching for what is next.

Again, thank you all for your prayers, encouragement, and help. May it all come back to you muliplied.

I still need to get food. I have eaten today and have tomorrow covered.
I will have the money in hand to cover March's bills on Monday. THANK YOU!

Otherwise, no change except that I am mentally doing better. God is patient. :)

Work on both books is continuing. The fiction in the first in what I hope will be a mystery series. The second is about observations on God and religion. I know, yikes! Right? But I believe sharing what I have learned and see can help others. Prayers on these projects greatly appreciated.

Again, thank you, thank you, all of you, for your prayers, your encouragement, your help. You really have no idea how much you are impacting me. Love to you all.

I am so grateful all of March's bills and rent have been covered. Thank you!
I have food through Tuesday, then will need again.

The tumor is still there, but still about the size of a raisin. It only twinges occasionally. I am grateful that, although it is not gone, it is not getting worse. Still working on that. My knee is back to normal. Yay! My back is a little grumpy, though. Partly the couch, I think, and partly the unusual weather, perhaps.

Work on both books is slow, but I am making progress. It is a much slower process than I'd like, but I haven't yet figured out how to speed it up.

Still looking for solutions to the car dilema.

Continued prayers and thoughts on all the above are greatly appreciated.

Thank you all so much!

A wonderful friend bought me lunch today. (Thank you!) So I have food through tomorrow.

Have been a little sore and tired this week. Not sure why, but I know it will pass.

The plot of my mystery is progressing. Reading tons in the genre for inspiration/motivation.

Still looking for a car and a couch. :)

Again, thank you all so much! You are truly teaching me what grace and mercy and love are about.

Well, rent is due again this week... $565 + the fees = $615.
I have food to get through until Tuesday or so.

Still tired and sore, but less so, so improvement is good.

Continuing to look for a car and a couch. :)

Funny, for a writer, I sometimes have trouble knowing what to say here...Thank you all so much. Thank you.

Rent is due again in 4 days... $565 + the gofundme fees = $615.
I have food to get through the week.

Still remain stable - no better, no worse - regarding tumor. I am grateful it is not spreading. I think some of the soreness and pain in places of old injuries (back, knee, foot, face) are due to the odd weather changes we've been having. You get used to a certain level of chronic pain through the years. But some days, it is a bit discouraging.

Still looking for a car and a couch. I know this will sort out. :)

I am continuing to work on my writing and have a class on that to finish.

Thank you all so much.

Rent is due the end of the week... $565 + the gofundme fees = $615. I have some, so $520 still needed.
I have food to get through Friday.

Have been in some pain this week. It's a little discouraging, but I know it will pass. I need to just keep moving.

I am still watching for opportunities on the car and couch. I know this will sort out, but I'm hoping sooner than later.  :)

I have made a little progress on the writing. It's amazing how much of it is just mental...thinking and plotting. ;)

I am grateful to all for your support in prayer and thought, words and finances. It is often overwhelming. Thank you.
