Last Moving Update (I hope)

Well, I am sitting in my new apartment. The last 2 days seem like a bit of a whirlwind. Everything is moved. There's a lot of unpacking and organizing to do (ha), but everything I own is now in this place and no one else is.

I don't think it has really hit me yet. I have 3 days to unpack & organize before I start my new job. It honestly doesn't quite feel real yet. When it is more settled, maybe I will be, too. ;-)

That's all for now. Just wanted to let you all know. THANK YOU for your prayers and concern. They mean a lot to me. =D

  1. It is so pleasing to know this is working out so well for you. I do thank Father for his care and encouragement to you during this time. It is my hope that the transition into the job and new living situation will, even if difficult, bring you peace and comfort from the Spirit.

  5. Katherine,
I'm so glad to hear that you moved in!

Having lived in several apt complexes, I know what it's like. Regarding unpacking, I once unpacked all my stuff and set it all up in a day. I had to start a new job, also, and just wanted it all to be unpacked.

    Blessings,
    Amy :)

  8. Katherine, I am so behind in reading everyone's blog that I just found out about your new apartment. I am so excited for you! Don't stress about the unpacking. Just enjoy where you are right now - new apartment, new job and a new start. I'm so proud of you.

    Love,

Thanks! I am still a little in shock. This has been a whirlwind week ending several months of stress. You know, I keep looking back and all I did was go here or there when Papa said. He did this, not me......

  10. Yay for you! I'm so glad you are finally IN.

Now, you make sure you be extra nice to yourself over the next few days. No berating yourself for not getting enough done now, ya hear? :)

  13. Horray for having all your stuff in your own place. God is good!

I'll second (or third, or...) the not stressing on getting everything unpacked. There's plenty of time for that later. Be sure to take some time to kick back and enjoy the peace and freedom.

Thanks. Yeah... I haven't gotten nearly as much done as I wanted to. I start a new job in the morning. Scary... Thanks for the reminder to kick back & enjoy.
